Historical Background of HSTTI

5 HSTTIs has established in 5 big cities which covers the different level of teachers, and administrators, for training in Bangladesh. It established   by the higher secondary education project (HSEP) which started working from July, 1992 by the financing partner of ADB, UNDP and government of Bangladesh for in-service training of higher secondary college teachers, and Principals. HSTTI Mymensingh is situated beside teachers’ training college (Co-Ed) Mymensingh and started functioning in 1995.

Functions of HSTTI

HSTTIs started functioning in 1995. Mission of HSTTI is to increase competences in teaching learning process, reflective practice & to accelerate competences in educational management in secondary & higher secondary level teachers. It also develops the solid foundation on computer literacy & ICT for the secondary level teachers & higher secondary level computer teachers. HSTTIs is trying to implement various types of training programs successfully for improving the quality of education at secondary & higher secondary level which is contributing to the pace of development of the country
